I was referred by a friend to go and photograph these awesome adoptable dogs at a sweet woman’s house in Stone Mountain yesterday. As I’ve been working toward my portfolio completion, I’ve realized I don’t have many photos of a) men who own dogs and b) alternative-lifestyle dog owners. Today, I had a friend of a friend volunteer himself and his sweet pit bull Nina. She was so sweet, and Mike is a great guy. Enjoy!

I went to an old friend’s house yesterday (not age-wise old, we haven’t seen each other since high school!) and took some photos of her two pugs and pit bull. It was very hot, and those pugs didn’t love the walk we took, but they had such happy faces, who wouldn’t want to spend an afternoon with them?!
Sully and Roxy
I had the pleasure of spending some time this afternoon with my classmate Paul, his dog Sully, and his roommate’s dog Roxy. A hot day, but so worth being outside with these adorable puppies!

Animal Action on Ponce
Today I went to the Petsmart on Ponce de Leon Avenue to get some photos of the dogs up for adoption with Animal Action Rescue of Atlanta. It was very hot, so all the dogs were pretty tired, and I ended up pretty tired, myself!

Hopefully we’ll see these photos in the Ponce book after this quarter… Either way, I had a lovely time and I plan on going back next weekend to see if any will get adopted. Happy Sunday!
